NALL has traveled the world since his departure from the United States in 1971 to attend the École des Beaux-Arts. After his admission to the French college, Nall continued to travel throughout Europe and eventually made his way to Africa, Asia, and South America. Over the duration of his travels, Nall was captivated by the beauty of the distant shores, taking the advice of his mentor Salvador Dali to “paint whatever you see from life." After many years of travel, Nall returned to America along with hundreds of Plein-air watercolors that illustrated his voyages.
